Shipping FAQs:


Will you be able to ship the product to me?

Hi, we can ship the product to all the areas covered by our delivery partner. In case it is in an area they do not service, we will try shipping with an alternative partner for an additional cost.

What are the delivery charges?

If you are from Bangalore, we ship it for free. For the rest of the country, all orders above INR 399 are free., else a nominal delivery fee of INR 30 is levied per SKU.

How can I track the delivery?

We usually email you the tracking reference number of your shipment. You can request for an update at the TS website (URL TBD) or if you have your reference number you can track it directly on the Shadowfax website https://tracker.shadowfax.in/#/

How long will the order take to reach me?

Please allow five to seven days for your order to reach. If you are in Bangalore we’ll probably get your order to you sooner than that. Orders from metro areas usually reach within 4 days.

Is COD available?

No, sorry we do not have CoD.

Can the delivery address be changed after an order is placed?

Sorry, it can't be done.

How do I contact the delivery company?

Along with a confirmation of dispatch, we will give you the tracking number through which you can track your order. If you have any trouble tracking your order please drop us a mail at support@truesouth.in and we will aid you to the best possible extent.

What if I am not home when the package arrives?

You may get a call from the Courier Company/Logistics partner confirming the tentative date and the time of delivery. However, as we do not have any direct control over the courier/logistics partner, we cannot guarantee that they will act only in a certain manner or will necessarily call before getting your order for delivery.

In rare cases, if they are not able to find you at your address when they reach they will leave a note/message at your address notifying you of an alternative delivery or pick-up arrangement. We also request you to give the correct address and phone no. details at the time of placing your order. If you are planning to travel and will be unavailable on the contact number, please inform us in advance so that we can plan the shipping and delivery as per your convenience.

FILTER COFFEE DECOCTION:

What is a filter coffee decoction?

A coffee decoction is obtained by allowing hot water to pass through roast and ground coffee powder in a traditional south Indian filter. This decoction is then mixed with hot milk to enjoy a South Indian filter coffee.

What kind of ingredients do you use?

Our decoction is made of coffee, chicory [in some blends] and water. Absolutely nothing else. It is a wholesome natural product with no preservatives, added sugar or additives.

What is the shelf life of the decoction?

The shelf life of the decoction is 8 months in ambient conditions. Once opened the decoction needs to be refrigerated in the original packaging and consumed within 10 days.

Is the decoction vegan?

The decoction by itself is vegan, consuming a black coffee from the decoction is also vegan.

Where do you grow your coffee?

All the coffee used in our decoction comes from the Western Ghats of India. This is a true farm to table product as we are completely backwards integrated. We grow, process, pack and sell the decoction in house.

I noticed small brown particles in my coffee, what are they?

We use coffee and nothing but coffee, the particles are soluble coffee solids that coagulate under storage. Shake the pouch/sachet well before usage and they will dissolve into the liquid.

Can I use the decoction for anything other than hot coffee?

Of course yes, awesome cold coffees, cakes, cocktails etc can be made with our decoction. It can also be used as a coffee topping on ice creams.

Can I reheat the decoction?

Any coffee if reheated loses its flavour and charm. Never reheat the decoction directly, add it to hot milk, heat the mixture and beat it up and down for a traditional south indian filter coffee.

Can I drink the decoction directly?

Well, there is no harm in doing that, if that is what your palette prefers, go ahead. If you would like to try a more traditional approach, do visit our recipe page.


TEA BREW:

What is a tea brew?

The TrueSouth tea brew is a ready-to-use tea concentrate. It is obtained using our proprietary extraction process from the finest tea leaves. What kind of ingredients do you use?

Our brew is made of only natural ingredients. The finest tea leaves, curated spices and natural lemon. Absolutely nothing else. It is a wholesome natural product with no preservatives or colours.

What is the shelf life of the tea brew?

The shelf life of the decoction is 6 months in ambient conditions. Once opened the decoction needs to be refrigerated in the original packaging and consumed within 10 days.

Can I use the tea brew for anything apart from hot tea?

You can prepare a cup of black tea or ice tea with our water-based brews. Make excellent mocktails, tea-flavoured cakes. Sky’s the limit.

What is the shelf life of the premixes?

The shelf life of the premixes is 5 months when stored in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.

Subscription FAQs

How does subscription work?

Once you purchase a subscription under a specific plan for any variant, your chosen product will be shipped every month for the duration of the plan.

How does the billing for subscription work?

When you choose to purchase a subscription, you will be asked to pay the full amount (combined cost of all the products shipped during the plan’s duration).

How can I continue my subscription after a change of address?

How can I cancel my subscription?

We understand that you may need to cancel due to reasons unforeseen. Just drop us a message via whatsapp at +91 99008-66996 or dial +91 80 4168 6996. You can even send us a mail at support@truesouth.in. Be sure to mention your order number and date of purchase.

When can I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time before the next billing cycle.

For example: During a 3-month plan, if you wish to cancel then you should ensure that you’ve requested for a cancellation at least 5 days before the billing date of the third month.

How are refunds calculated after cancelling the subscription?

Once you’ve requested cancellation, our team will check your subscription details such as the date of purchase, the date of cancellation and the amount. Only unutilised months in your subscription will be considered for refund calculation. Discounts applied will be reversed for premature cancellation.

For example: During a 3-month plan, if you’ve cancelled your subscription right before the 2nd month’s billing cycle, then the amount refundable will be the combined total of the 2nd month and 3rd month’s billing amounts (excluding the discounts offered).
